yeah I was pleasantly surprised by that. interesting they also cast Susan Sarandon, one of the most vocally leftist Hollywood actors
the movie itself was pretty okay. it was refreshing to have a standalone comic book movie without a overly-convoluted plot that relies on having seen a bunch of other movies or shows, like all the recent MCU slop. I actually liked the characters, and even a lot of the humor worked, which is rare in these movies. I kinda check out when it descends into mindless action but that's par for the course
lol, yeah I quite like her as a person so I had mix feelings about that, but she did a good job of making me dislike her character.

I was surprisingly quite happy with the way they made nega-BB redeemable and threw her on the pyre as imperialism's effigy. I worried they were gonna go too hard with the Talk-No-Jutsu but they took it in a good direction. Thought that was a good move on their part.
