Every IRL Lib I know, save maybe a handful of older ones, pretty much despises the Republican party and it's supporters now. I've seen them openly fantasize about carpet bombing red states, my sister has talked about wanting to burn down the house of the guy who flies a MAGA flag down the street from her. Thing is, it's all over decorum and aesthetics, they think the Republicans are tacky now and sullying the respectable image of America. They're a bunch of nasty low class rednecks who are holding back America from becoming a more classy cosmopolitan society.
That gives me hope that when we get organized enough to run serious candidates we can tell the voters we want to crush the Republicans completely and get them to leave the Dems in droves.
Eh, they don't have the same reasons for hating Trump as we do. Also they hate communists more.
