Yeah. The one before the miderm election was just kind of calling back to the Iraq war and Obama and all, and making the pretty accurate point that everyone in the American system and our friends even the "good guys," tend to bomb the shit out of anywhere in the world that it serves our purposes to do so.
This one is really emphasizing Biden; like half his cabinet is on there. Trump is present, but it's not a bipartisan thing anymore. Also, someone else pointed out -- where the fuck is Putin? If you're gonna put up Erdoğan and Charlie Kirk and all?
Now I'm really curious to go back through the history of this page and see if they were pushing any Ukraine memes back when those were the new hotness, in the same way that they're posting all these Palestine memes today.
It's a great leftist meme account. Been around for awhile.
Want to put some money on them having an anomalous lack of Ukraine memes? I would put some amount of money on them breaking with the almost unanimous consensus of the US left, and either just saying nothing about the war, or else putting some kind of unusual "both sides" anti-Imperialism-in-general-especially-the-Western-kind material into their rotation around the time the war was starting.
I could be 1,000% wrong about that, but that is currently my guess for what I would see if I looked back through their history. I don't have an Instagram account but I could make a temp account and poke around at some point.
