Feels like a blunder. Westerners/ Americans generally look left to right (because of the way we read). They also lost the closing statement. The headline seems stupid at first, but I think this is a blunder by the Biden campaign. It's a small one, but this is going to be a close election. Every decision matters.

The entire Biden campaign is "not Trump". The most powerful closing statement Biden can make is to let Trump spout gibberish until getting abruptly cut off by the shot caller in the video booth.

2024: "Not Trump"

2020: "Not Trump"

2016: "Not Trump"

God I'm tired of it. I know its the better option, lesser of two evils, I'm going to vote for Biden if I live to November, but we act shocked when we get evil when we vote for lesser evil.

he's really not as bad as the whiners make him out to be. He's not Bernie Sanders, sure, but few are.

I keep seeing posts like this, about how bad Biden is. What has Biden done that is so bad? I mean, I don't wake up to some batshit crazy bullshit that the president did every single day like it was with the guy that has 34 felonies. I feel he's been a great president, he sure had his hands full fixing shit from the previous president*, and has to deal with the bullshit from people like that jewis space lasers dipshit and the handy in the theater trash.

vote for anyone who will verifiably support ranked choice or instant run-off voting. not an absolute cure, but one of our most powerful weapons moving forward.

This is a talking point pushed by conservatives trying to hollow out the progressive vote.

I personally don't "like" Biden very much. It's also true that he's very old and not very appealing compared to a younger candidate.

That said, he's been an effective, progressive president.

It's correct to say that one of Biden's selling points is that he is "not Trump", because Trump is repugnant, but even against a more palatable opponent, Biden would still have virtues.

I don't like Biden, Democrats, or Republicans, because they've consistently represented their corporate constituency.

I personally

Political representation isn't a popularity contest.

That said, he's been an effective, progressive president.

Yes, when compared to diarrhea he's a God.

Get out of the echo chamber and begin thinking for yourself. Others will gladly help once you find humility.

I think they did this to play against the left vs the right.

Biden doesn't care about progressives, if they are against trump then those votes are already secured.

He is right wing and wants to appear more representable to conservatives to get their votes.

Its pure token symbolism but i bet it does have a noticeable effect in how the candidates are perceived.

this same dynamic would apply to any political debate ever.
