I cannot get over this. Biden has destroyed an incomprehensible number of lives between the Crime bill, college debt and medical bills, the violence on the border, the extrajudicial assassinations and renditions, the genocides in Yemen and Gaza. What the fuck are liberals? What are they? Why don't they care about any of this? What the fuck? 
My brain i s just making whatever noise this picture of Matt is and it's been mkaing that noise for years. How can they just not care? How is this not real to them?
On top of that, can someone explain to me why I'm a trans person in Florida who has been negatively impacted by DeSantis' shitty regulations to trans healthcare and Biden did jack and shit about that? These libs will say shit like "Well, at least Biden cares about trans rights!" to pathetically compensate for him funding a genocide among other things, but I'm not seeing it.
Right? He's not doing anything! He has enormous bully pulpit power to fuck with the GOP and he's not using it. I always point this out, the SCOTUS has ruled that he can literally just point at someone, say "Terrorist!" and shoot them in the head! And he has endless more realistic powers through is dictatorial control of the executive, federal law enforcement, all kinds of shit. I have had libs straight up tell me that it would be wrong for him to use any of it. Like, I posit "Well what if he just told the justice department to move the criminal investigation of whoever to the top of the pile? They don't have to make any charges up, these guys are legit genuine criminals, just move the prosecution of their real and legitimate crimes to the top of the to-do list" and dems start whining about norms and civility and abuse of power. He has power. He has vast power. he's the goddamn POTUS! He's not doing shit about shit. Fuck!~

Because making a public display of “caring” is what matters for them. It’s politics as personal branding, so as long as the image of pro-trans rights is there, that works for their particular “personal brand.” They want you to interpret their support of the Democrats as meaning they’re a trans ally.
