MODERATORS
The assassin hit their mark, but nobody will suspect it because they were standing behind Trump.
Definitely not a major plot point of the movie Shooter starring Mark Wahlberg.
Why wouldn't they just tie explosives to their car or bed like a normal assassin? It seems strange to do it at such an event with so many bystanders and security present
Those things are dangerous to acquire and produce by oneself. Guns are convenient and safe.
As for strange, not really. Many assassinations have occurred this way. The key is the intended victim is out in the open.
Recent news reports are saying the shooter also had some explosives in his car and at his home
