Literally true, Trump was handed the best PR on a silver platter, and even if he croaked his replacement has a sure win.

Actually, I guess the democrats would lose either way. It would have only prevented Trump from winning (which many people would probably say is a good thing, but for many it would still not be enough of course), not ensuring the democrats win. So yeah, you're right.
