Yeah no, he definitely misspoke here, I doubt he would have roasted her like that in public on purpose. It's more likely he was trying to say "if". Hard to say what's going on his mashed potato brain, but that seems closer to his intent and other statements about her that he's made.
Calling her trump is definitely a mistake, given the context. But Biden ignores the actual question and clearly tells the reporter that she's not qualified and goes on to imply that only he is.
Biden is one of the worst people that ever lived. I don't know why people want so badly to believe otherwise.
I don't really get what you're saying. To take the quote at face value, it makes no sense. Setting aside the VP Trump gaff, you think he intentionally said he wouldn't have picked Harris as VP? So why did he? Especially if he believed she couldn't be a viable president, given his age? I'm not arguing Biden isn't a piece of shit - and I'm not sure what that has to do with anything I said. Especially considering him now endorsing her, to take this quote literally seems incredibly silly/bad faith.
You think, in a quote where Biden was obviously already flustered, shitting the bed, misspeaking, and stuttering, that:
Actually the parts that are convenient for your weird narrative, he wasn't misspeaking
He chose this moment to tell the world actually he wouldn't have (or didn't, as you posit) pick her for VP, despite proudly bringing up that he picked the first black woman for VP whenever he has the opportunity
He would publicly call his VP unfit to serve as president, despite now endorsing her immediately after dropping out of the race
All in the face of multiple statements he and his campaign have made before and after this, which contradict this weird narrative you seem to believe
And not just that:
If you infer one word where he was clearly slurring (which you already pointed out), it would clarify the meaning of what he's saying to something that would actually make sense for him to say: "Look, I wouldn't have picked Vice President Trump (sic) [Harris] to be Vice President, [if] I think she's not qualified to be president, so let's start there. Number one."

That's what I keep hearing. He does slur the "but" a somewhat. He also might be saying "so"?

What makes you think Biden picked her and not the party?
I'm being trolled here. Occam's razor.

And not just that:
He says "I wouldn't have picked Vice President Trump to be Vice President if I think she's not qualified to be president."
He's saying he has confidence in Kamala because VP is first in line of succession. Genocide Joe has a melted brain but you're def reading this wrong.
You, ummm, changed some words there.
dawg there are so many legitimate angles to attack Biden and Kamala but this is not one of them, he wasn't saying Kamala was unqualified
That's what he said. Or at least what he meant when he tried to say it.
Dude edited his comment
I changed 'if I didn't think' -> 'if I think she's not', brain auto-corrected the phrasing. Meaning is still the same.
Thank you for admitting that you changed what you said
