What's a phone book?
It’s like manual DNS for phone numbers.
Before the internet there were phonebooks for your city and/or region which listed household and business phone numbers among other info. This is where the term "yellow pages" came from which was the section for businesses categorized by type of business ("crime fighting" here) .

It's an adjustably thick paper construct used for leveling uneven furniture.
I think it's another name for those folding smartphones. They kind of look like books.
