A Mozilla employee recently released a Firefox addon to change the user agent to Chrome on sites the user enables it on.

I think you got the message backwards. What's actually happening is Firefox runs a mask to look like Google. In an alternate universe Mozilla is evil and Google is having to mask.

I really thought that the Mozilla extension was an answer to a move that Google made.
