The Kamala Harris campaign is using memes and celebrities to present her as a fun-loving progressive candidate. In reality, she represented the ugly face of the US' brutal and corrupt justice system as prosecutor. As Vice President, she has been an apologist for genocide, war, and anti-migrant policies.
Ok but have you considered that she's 'young and quirky and cool' and totally not just an excuse for me to run back to the Democratic party while crying and saying I'll never leave again
The fact that a 60 year old barred out aunt is the "youthful" candidate is... something. I can't put it to words, but it's definitely a Thing.
