For the immense amount of shit liberals give conservatives for being dumb fools for their party, they sure manage to not shake the allegations themselves

Really furthers my belief that a lot of these natsec freaks aren't especially bright

Managed to accidentally radicalize someone they were probably suspecting of being a communist by using a (for them) particularly stupid choice of words

US confirmed dumbest country

So they're going to undo it once they win back office (unlike Guantanamo, Bush Jr's deportation policy, Iraq, Afghanistan, Trump's tariffs, etc), right? anakin-padme-2

Bloodthirsty fascist nations literally making up lies to justify attacking and persecuting their enemies?

This is news? The US has been saber rattling with them for decades, I'd be shocked if they didn't have something ready

One of the more underreported topics regarding 'AI' is the massive amount of power they consume.

I work for an electric utility that a few years ago was in talks of having another merger, just a couple years after the last, to give an idea of how thin things were.

Now? Said company will be adding gigawatts of additional generation over the next 5-10 years, multiple new large plants, almost solely because of this phenomena. Population growth has been static in this region, and no major plants have been shuttered, the growth is almost solely due to this crap.

So basically don't fix the problem via the method that Republicans would absolutely fix theirs

That's literally liberals' MO

"We can't do good thing because it would set a terrible new precedent!"

Conservatives immediately set new precedent by doing something atrocious that liberals could have slowed, averted entirely, or at least taken advantage of if they did the good thing

Liberals: We must defeat conservatives at all costs!

politician that is nominally left of center is winning

Liberals: frothingfash WE DON'T ENDORSE COMMIES DRAG THEM DOWN

Real shame we never had a democrat majority in House/Senate/Presidency that could have codified this at any point in the last 50 years

This will also motivate many people to turn out and vote lib, reinforcing the cycle of

liberals moving right > losing > conservatives doing horrid shit > people voting liberals back in

From "No student debt" to "highest interest rates on student loans in over a decade"

This motherfucker is trying to lose, you can't convince me otherwise

Joe Biden threw down the gauntlet on Wednesday, directly challenging former President Donald Trump – his expected 2024 rival — to not one, but two debates. Within hours, CNN announced via press release that it would be hosting the first debate in the presidential rematch on June 27 in the key battleground state of Georgia — where Trump remains under criminal indictment for attempting to interfere with the results of the 2020 election.

lmao

Participating candidates will be required to “appear on a sufficient number of state ballots to reach the 270 electoral vote threshold to win the presidency prior to the eligibility deadline” — meaning that potential third-party candidate RFK Jr. will likely be unable to take the stage.

Gonna be interesting to see whose amphetamines wear off first

Competent military hours (web.archive.org)

“Something interesting that comes from Israel, 40 percent” of the drones “knocked out” by the Israeli army are shot down in cases of “friendly fire,” Marine Lt Col Michael Pruden told The War Zone and other attendees of the yearly Modern Day Marine exposition in Washington DC.

So...we have 3 candidates for president, of which

-One claims a literal worm ate part of his brain

-One cannot get off more than 4 sentences before becoming incoherent, has been ruled to be unable to be tried due to poor memory, and cannot keep names or places straight

-One thinks humans have a finite amount of energy and has used this as reason to not exercise, claims wind turbines cause cancer

All are pro capitalist, xenophobic, racist, pro war goons

What variety

You can't make this up lmao

The Taiwanese reports also noted some of the balloons’ proximity to the island’s military bases. Of the four reported on Tuesday, three were first detected 120 to 184 miles from the Ching Chuan Kang Air Base in the city of Taichung. Taiwan’s defense ministry declined to specify how close to the base they may have flown.

"Yeah it totally came near our airbase. How close? We won't say"

Taiwan has, so far at least, experienced none of the alarm that gripped many Americans last year when a hulking Chinese high-altitude surveillance balloon floated across the United States.
