On the one had having a tool to process data isn't a bad thing. It can actually help law enforcement work with data gathered in an ethical and non mass surveillance way.

However, I get the feeling this is more of a tools that uses mass surveillance to generate huge suspect lists. I also wonder if it could end up doing precrime.

Cobwebs/Penlink seemed much more tailored to that, but these companies also have an incentive to exaggerate their products' capabilities as much as they can get away with.
