As per the modern way then, it’s perhaps unsurprising that the movie will now be leaping to premium video on demand services at some speed. While we await a UK announcement, Lionsgate in the US is now making Borderlands available at home from 30th August, just three weeks after it made its debut in cinemas.

It should be added to any humble bundle that includes a borderlands game

It has almost nothing to do with the Borderlands games. It's a, quoting Eli Roth, "mix of Star Wars, and Mad Max, and Fifth Element, and Barbarella, and Blade Runner, and Escape from New York.”

....with a Borderlands cosmetic pack slapped on. Also it wasn't anything like the quoted movies either, but that's how he pitched it to Randy Pitchfork.
