RULES
- Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
- Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
- Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
- Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world
- Keep it clean and SFW
- No solicitation such as ads, promotional content, spam, surveys etc.

There was a sudden heat wave, so temperatures went from 0°C at night to 30°C at day in the course of a single week - and my body hates it, so I got a fever.
Eventually I said "you know what... fuck it" and spent the whole day ~~in~~ on the bed. It worked like a charm!
EDIT: "on" the bed, muppet me. It's weird and scary how much my mental faculties (reasoning, attention, memory, communication...) degrade when I'm sick. Got the same happening IRL yesterday, as I was asking someone to bring me my bottle of ginger tea - saying something roughly translatable as "could you *send me here my tea?".
