Pretty sure it was because I was playing Marathon Classic (1994)
Flashback to 5pm (a lifetime ago), and everyone at work switching to playing Marathon for next 30-60m to unwind before heading home.
Simpler times.
It’s free on Steam. Runs on Mac or Windows or I guess probably Linux idk
