Lmao it's maybe a 2 hour leisurely walk down the mountain; doable in sneakers. Isn't it wild the percentage of people in our society that would be stuck sleeping on a floor just because a gondola shut down on some minor hill in the rockies?
Isn't there a road up the west side anyway?
Entirely different when it's late at night in the dark. If power was knocked out from a storm it would have been stormy and slippery too.
I wouldn't call it leisurely. Anyone slightly out of shape or with knee issues would struggle.
Absolutely! I went up with my dad years ago. No way could he have walked down the mountain.
Some people take the gondola because they are physically unable to hike dip shit
if people were prepared for the walk down, why even take the gondola in the first place?
Oh, its so the people who are unable to do the hike are still able to get to the top, and back, without having the physical ability to do so. Hopefully you understand just how stupid your statement really is
