I don't know why Zelensky would care who gets elected. It won't matter one iota.

I thought the general consensus was that the war in Ukraine was a democrat project because the Republicans want to buddy up with Russia against China, but the Democrats are literally insane and think we can 1v2 them

Also things like the Democrats having more grift going on in ukraine i.e. hunter biden

I think that's the mainstream press idea, but Obama, Trump, and Biden all supplied Ukraine with billions in weaponry, support, and training to blow the shit out of the Donbass and drag Russia into attacking. Zelensky knew the score too... Trump gave plenty toward getting his country decimated, but Obama and Biden gave even more.

I have a feeling Trump and some republicans are against funding Ukraine publicly because they know the war is unpopular and that it's an easy way for them to get some political points agains the Dems ("Republicans are for peace, while Dems are for war" something like that). But I also believe trump would 100% fund Ukraine if he was still president.
