If America does a purge, do you think all the low level government employees would be too busy hiding in fear that day to notice the warnings that several dozen Dong Feng ballistic missiles were fired directly at Washington DC?
Huh. That's something I never thought about "the purge" (and another reason why those movies are so dumb). It would be the perfect opportunity for the US's enemies to conduct espionage or attacks under the guise of people purging. Hell, a ton of local militias would probably do that too.
