Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Flood-proof, with a gated yard and a mature tree? Sounds like a dream house, not a nightmare.
Bonus: extra friends, and if you offer a sacrifice yearly, they defend the place when you are gone - woot!
Not to mention the lack of light pollution. Those are actual stars and I'm surprised I recognize them.
Nice catch! It would have made more sense if the user you replied to noticed it first, based on their name.

Yes as @ettyblatant@lemmy.world mentioned, that one and even more so Haunting of Bly Manor are two of the best shows I have ever watched - not merely best "horror" show mind you, but best period. It's fantastic storytelling! Horror shows have really come up lately, compared to older ones that got less attention and funding to make.
And no worries - we haven't even secured the house yet!? Maybe when we do, we can roll dice to see who gets to go first:-D.
That series is genuinely creepy, and I even screamed out loud once! My girlfriend won't rewatch with me but I probably put that series and it's sister show Haunting of Bly Manor on once a year ๐ป๐จ
Bet it has a grave yard on property. If your lonely you can dig up some friends.
Or if only pieces are left, you can "make" some new friends!? ๐
Sure, but the place is a money trap. Water damage everywhere, squirrels living in the walls, and 80 year old plumbing/electricity
