Yuri communities talking about China always seem to do one of these three:

Falsely claim or imply that homosexuality/ queer content is illegal in China.
Bring up Tamen de Gushi. From what I read it was the publisher that demanded the censorship, not the government. Also there are still many other yuri manhua that is still published so it does not look like an institutional problem.
They will say that Honkai Star Rail/ ZZZ/ Genshin is less gay than Honkai Impact 3
