You do realise US politics and who wins the presidential election is not the end all be all of everything right? The world is large. It would be very closed minded to assume Trump is the only threat on this earth.
Red-Baiting is weird. As a Marxist, of course I see myself in it. With two weeks before an election where Trump is threatening the enemy within, I find this kind of thinking quixotic and slapdash.
You really think my meme criticising hypocrisy in people supporting authoritarian capitalism (like China) which calls itself communism, is going to convince people not to vote for Harris.
Not everything is about the US and the US election. We are one of hundreds of countries. Stop acting like everything is about america.
If Marxists, socialists, anarchists, Maoists and Leninists continue to practice campism, then we have no hope to stand against fascism. This isn’t personal, just consider who the real enemy is before posting divisive content.
I’d rather live under a liberal democracy than a stalinist or maoist state.
I’m an anarcho-communist. I support the abolition of hierarchy. Not the creation of new ones.
I’m disabled. While I’m allowed a meagre but survivable existence under liberal democratic welfare states, I would have been murdered in Stalin’s great purge or the Maoist cultural revolution.
I will not turn a blind eye to people who murdered my kind just because they are also against capitalism.
You can say all you want about unity. But once the bolsheviks took power they executed anarchist dissidents. Similar things happened in other authoritarian “communist” states. You can’t shame me into supporting people who would kill me once in power.
The irony isn’t lost on me after watching this video this morning.
