Recipe app (sh.itjust.works)
submitted 3 weeks ago by sbv@sh.itjust.works to c/android@lemmy.world

I remember someone posting a great Android recipe app a while ago, but I can't remember the name of it.

The feature that caught my interest was being able to download a recipe from free form pages.

Anyone got a suggestion?

Another recommendation for Paprika. Been using for years and as another commenter said...nothing really tops it. Great scaling tools and it magically parses the ingredients versus the directions and builds in timers etc. Categorisation options are endless. Kind of a bummer that the PC version is another purchase (and a bit pricey). But the Android version is great (and pretty reasonable). I downloaded and sign in with an account that my wife and I share so we can both add recipes and have the same info.

I grabbed it yesterday. It does a great job of pulling recipes off sites.
