I haven't logged into my account over there since it all started. I don't care if there's an official protest or not, that was the last straw for me, it was time to leave.

And who would have guessed my emotional health has been better over here and I wouldn't call it an addiction either. No thanks, op can go back to reddit if they like but I'm quite happy here

I logged in on my sinister moderation account yesterday because I charged the tablet I had the revanced patched version of reddit on. Had a ton of notifications, so I checked it out.

Reddit had ousted the entire mod list (I was the only active one) and the new mods had banned me lol.

So I logged right back out

Sadly it sounds like that was the norm. And people like op here say the protest is over and it doesn't matter. Protest is over because reddit strong armed it over. I'll use it if I Google something I need an answer to, but not for a daily scroller anymore

use libreddit or teddit if you need to see an answer on reddit

Didnt libreddit go down due to the API changes? Because it doesnt seem to be working for me

Libreddit/Teddit are rate limited somewhat, just change instance until it works.

I swear, I just saw a video in r/funny and the top comments filter is the same as controversial now.

I log in on my desktop for old.reddit for niche communities. Otherwise its been just Lemmy on my phone ever since we lost the 3rd party apps. I feel like it's been healthier for me as well, not being as addicted to my old reddit feed
