I'm going to guess the election results hit him pretty hard, and he wants to focus on his local community, based on what I remember of his last post. He spent the last month basically posting about how despicable Elon Musk is (understandable tbh), so seeing him with some actual state power must be nauseating.

Probably the same that happened to me - Realised he can't just be online a little bit and decided to log off. Easier when you delete your account. I came back after a few months.
