Damn I was just thinking about moving there. Not really but Iโd really like to live in a more utopian society where we work together to solve problems instead of fighting to make things worse.
Work together and be nice to each other? Sure.
Solving problems? Eh, not really a thing here. Kicking them down the road is a popular sport at every level of government here.
Let your grandkids deal with the climate, housing, and oligarch crisis, we have profits to be made today!
Then go to Norway.
As someone who moved here from Scandinavia (Sweden) we're hardly immune to extremist right-wing philosophies and political movements. Case in point: the former Nazi party won the last general elections in Sweden and is making a right old mess of the country as we speak.
And while it's not Norway, our closest neighbors haven't been insulated from the right wing populist tide either, judging by the news.
There is nowhere left to "go". The only answer is to take it back from the corporations and governments.
