I think in that same interview he said he really liked Soviet movies, and how the directors in the Soviet Union or AES, could basically film whatever they wanted as long as it didn't criticize the goverment too much and they didn't film illegal stuff. He also called Disney white slavers, and that he was inspired by a bunch of guerrila movements, but specially the Vietcong.
