It’s fucked. Have you ever noticed how AI-generated women always look like children’s faces with developed womanly bodies? This all comes down to our culture’s creepy obsession with unrealistic women and that insane age of consent countdown shit. All the people who love celebrities always seem to love the ones who were child actors more. And the ones who maintain a child-like look. I’m not trying to excuse pedophiles at all, I am trying to point out that those inclinations are prodded along by the beauty industry/pop culture.

The most recent example of this I think is the girl from Stranger things. She was a child actor on a huge show, so everyone knows her mainly as a child. But now she’s hyper sexualized (at least on lemmy, which is where those posts cross my path on c/all). I just think it’s the most telling example because—and not to diminish her for her physical attributes—but she just looks…like any ol’ person. I truly think men’s attraction to her is that…she was a child and now she’s technically not
