DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR PHONES RIGHT BEFORE YOU DO SOMETHING ILLEGAL
Instead leave them on, but at home or with a friend. A systems analyst can use stuff like a group of people all turning off their phones at the same time as a pretty obvious tell.
