Add all of your regular calls to contacts. Block any calls not coming from your contacts. See "Should I Answer?" app for example.
I hate this "feature" of the Dexcom GCM app. They seem to believe that HIPPA law prevents me from sharing my glucose readings with anyone I choose to.
To send readings to people, I can't screenshot the app but I can screenshot the notification which contains the same info 🤷🏼
I asked him to send me the check and just send it to my address since he had my Signal number. I'm expecting it before Christmas.
I love reader mode. It can force dark mode, a pleasant font and font size, and stop those pop-ups that appear as you scroll. Firefox reader is better than anything I've seen on Chrome.
I'm just afraid it's gonna be another 2 years before it's ready for everyday use
That isn't a break. They are forcing you rank them by most, least, and between.
The idea is to show normies on Threads that it's better over here without so the ads and shit. Let Meta introduce them to the fediverse.
I use an adblocking DNS plus UBO on Firefox
A few years ago I felt the same way. I installed the Should I Answer? app and even limited calls to people in my contacts to get it under control.
I'm on a Pixel too. I'm in the USA and, at some point, Google got their act together on screening calls here. Most spam is rejected outright and the remaining ones get screened by the phone itself. I haven't had spam call in a couple of years now! And I don't have to use Should I Answer? anymore.
Too bad people on mastodon don't have the ability to block an instance they find objectionable for themselves-- oh wait.
Not sure about Lemmy, but we can do this on mastodon. I don't need someone else deciding for me.
Tldr? Couldn't disagree more
Firefox had the best reader view of any browser and looks great in both mobile and desktop.
Also, uBlock
That's all the talk so far? It feels like a bad sign to me when power starts moving from the true believers to the VCs.
