Well I suppose some might count by adding 1s or 2s but that looks more ADHD-like than the method we're talking about here.

Uhm aren't all people counting like that?

Uhm you guys have more than 1 tab opened on a regular basis? I literally only open more when researching something.

I just name folders with numbers and call searching for files in them (that are not named either) future me's problem. Knowing they're there somewhere is good enough.

Bro is getting diabetes before GTA 6.

For me it is usually the option 2 but sometimes (and highly rarely so) option 1 finds its way and then I actually do feel nice (unlike most people here apparently).

Fedora forces new not ready beta technologies to stay the most innovative distro no matter what. That's basically all you need to know.

I like the compass

"User-first" and "public company" don't go together at all. That's just the reality. Now we just have to hope the fork doesn't die.

Tbh that's good. Deepin is sketchy to say the least.

I'm genuinely curious. Other changes are just following modern (and stupid) trends so nothing weird with that. This one though just makes the maximize, minimize and close buttons look smaller than others (new tab in Console etc) which imo creates inconsistency. Also it may not apply to all display resolutions but it does on mine.

VLC doesn't innovate. And it's basically dead on Linux.

Afaik it's false. It had a major update recently and it's installed on a lot of Linux systems.

I think it's because more cutting-edge options are not anywhere near as easy to set up and use.

Also visit flatpak.org for more information about how stable distros get around the old packages issue.

I think it's just nice to be able to verify a file with a right click instead of opening the terminal and typing the *sum command. Yes, it is technically bloat, but also good for time saving.
