Good. Hopeful more happens to zionist scum in the future.

They need to be afraid to walk the streets.

She's one of the few democrats that I would vote for president.

The games look great even to this day. I'm personally a huge fan of PS2 graphics and how it forced artists to rely on style rather than "realism."

It's pathetic how resources will need to be wasted on making a remastered version of something that doesn't even need it just so a new audience can participate in a mini hype cycle.

Maybe it won't be until we're 60 and we realize that the best games are the ones that stand the test of time, similar to movies. Too many people are still in their adolescent phase of gaming where the only things worth playing are the things released current year.

In Runescape, if you abuse the report function to try and punish a player that isn't breaking any rules, you're the one who's punished instead.

It's a great system that causes people to think before they hit report.

Most other services don't do this, and it results in 'dogpiling' reports. This means that people will report someone because they disagree or don't like them, and if enough people do that then the mods will ban that person "just because."

Are there any lemmy communities that try to combat this nonsense by penalizing those who abuse the report system?

I'd love to see the scumbags who try to use censorship to support their own agenda get a taste of their own medicine.

We're getting up there.

It honestly doesn't take much more for the snowball effect to take hold.

Could be interesting to see how proprietary platforms respond to increased adoption. Maybe they'll start removing their ads and surveillance, or even giving their operating systems away altogether (minus the source code, of course.)

Imagine if the money both nations spent on killing each other went to improving each other's infrastructure.

Wars would end overnight.

Zionists deserve all the vigilante justice that's coming to them.

Everyone single one of them should be afraid.

It's bad enough they make 'features' I don't want enabled by default, but it's even worse when the lazy/incompetent developers can't even give me the option to change it.

It feels like people don't try to figure out information others don't want them to know anymore.

Looking at world events and how much information is being censored from us, it's surprising how little effort is being put into identifying and documenting that censorship.

Even hearing about the 'Streisand Effect' seems like something the censors don't want to happen.

I'm going in the opposite direction.

I'm recognizing how much we've been herded like sheep just to make rich people richer, and I'm fighting back in the ways that I can.

Just so ya'll know, EULAs are routinely thrown out of court.

They straight up don't matter, and anything that is extremely long and asks you to 'agree' to it is subject to the same scrutiny.

All of the times we clicked agree without reading actually helped us, because now courts can say "nobody reads that stuff before hitting accept."

Seems like there's going to be a point where people are noticing the games they spent money on don't work as they should anymore because the servers get shut down.

How would you feel if most of the multiplayer games you spent money on suddenly stopped being multiplayer because the business decided it's not worthwhile for them to keep the servers running?

Copyright and patent laws need to die.

Victims of Stockholm Syndrome always focus on what their abusers provide, but never what they take away.

Of course, but that's more than most of the ruling class can say.

Credit where credit is due, and only where it's due.

It works fine on X, but switching to Wayland grays out the option to select which window.

I'm talking about a new game but made with old graphics and mechanics similar to Megaman 9 & 10.

I personally think such a thing could sell gangbusters and honestly go on record as one of the greatest Pokemon games ever made, especially in recent years.
