Renounce your US citizenship at the border while holding a Beaver and Canadian Goose, screaming "Oh Canada" at the top of your lungs until someone lets you in.

Wasting the Governments time to legislate pissing off a Billionaire Man Baby is not a productive use of time. Especially when the problem is American tech companies being balls deep in every level of the Canadian Government.

Doug Ford too. I’ll overlook that lately though as he’s at least lashing out at the US.

He is over compensating because a few months ago he was caught on a mic saying he was happy Trump won the last election, has supported Trump publicly before the tariffs, and is a greasy motherfucker who will say anything to maintain power. He has been billed numerous times as "Trump North".

Of course he is attacking harder than anyone else. If he screams loud enough people will forget, and they did.

Doug Ford should have lost the last election he forced on Ontario but is somehow bullet proof no matter what he does or has done.

I guess we all better make sure to sign that petition to ban X! That will fix everything!

You should learn to read before you try to write.

I don’t disagree with you, but you’re arguing about switching to another US company when nobody is suggesting that.

I don't know what defect you have but hopefully this 1,000+ entry list that isn't 100% Twitter accounts, including official Police and Military pages, will help you get it.

It is not about Transferring from Twitter to another, it is about calling to transfer all accounts off of all American platforms instead of wasting time on one genius.

We need to solve the issue of mentally unstable citizens threatening and harassing our politicians, and we do not need to make this about sex or gender to do it.

[-] Arkouda@lemmy.ca 8 points 1 day ago

Threats and harassment drive most people out of politics.

MP's, MLA's, City Council members, and every other politician that have stepped down recently have cited increased harassment and threats as a reason why they won't run again, regardless of sex or gender.

We need to solve the issue of mentally unstable citizens threatening and harassing our politicians, and we do not need to make this about sex or gender to do it.

Did you even read the petition? It even gives the suggestion of using decentralized networks and community regulated platforms. What part of that makes you think they’re going to jump to posting on Facebook?

Did you even read my comment? It even gives a clear point that all American social media companies are guilty. What makes you think Facebook or Google wont work with the Trump administration to manipulate Canadian accounts when they support the US administrations policy and goals?

I suggest you don't respond to me unless you have a coherent point to make.

Donald Trump has threatened tariffs, dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb.

He thought it would help economics, dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb.

He threatened them against his allies, dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb.

His allies now have better allies, smart, smart, smart, smart, smart.

I am happy to hear that we are still going forward with our measures regardless of what Trump does until what Trump does is fuck off.

The question that I have not seen asked is why are these guns being destroyed?

I may be ignorant to some reason why it is not possible, but wouldn't the best idea be to buy back all of these weapons for use in the military?

I hear our military could use millions of guns and parts, and it would actually justify the cost of the program. It would also be a massive increase on military spending our allies have been asking for and that we are in serious need of.
