People are closer to being on the same page than they realize I believe, but true, everyone is afraid of making the first move. I've heard this idea said a number of times, "I would fight a revolution but I don't want to lead it." People are still clinging to establishment politics and parties, what we need is a group to unite people in opposition to the status quo economic and political system and be unafraid to take direct action against the apparatus of the state. A lot of people would be afraid to take these steps, but it doesn't require everyone, enough dedicated revolutionaries can help lead the non-political masses.

Euro-Med Monitor’s field team documented Israeli forces opening fire on thousands of civilians gathered at dawn today, Sunday, 1 June 2025, in Tel al-Sultan, Rafah, near an aid distribution centre established by the Israeli army. Preliminary data indicate that the attack killed at least 31 civilians, including two women, and injured more than 200 others. Several remain missing.

Eyewitnesses interviewed by Euro-Med Monitor reported that the US-backed organisation brings only limited quantities of aid while directing tens of thousands of Palestinians to a high-risk distribution area, where Israeli forces open fire with live ammunition and tank shells. Those who survive and reach the site often find the aid insufficient, forcing desperate competition over the scarce supplies.

No person does until the conditions force them. Many people in the US are still comfortable enough and have a lot to lose, but the time might come. At a certain point it becomes the easier choice.

Nah he's still loved, I've seen Luigi prayer candles and grafitti plenty, he still receives massive amounts of fanmail. When the actual trial starts the fans will come out more.

“Every single signatory to this letter treated children in Gaza who suffered violence that must have been deliberately directed at them. Specifically, every one of us on a daily basis treated pre-teen children who were shot in the head.”

I love imagining these birds having friends online they can call up whenever haha. Pet birds suffer from loneliness very often so this is fun to see.

The fun thing is it can be both! It's like anti-Black antisemetic conspiracies, the BLM protests were just minorites trickes by Jewish overlords. The students are stupid and brainwashed by the evil Islamic terrorists.

Dang, only "slightly injured".

There should be some kind of punishment for knowingly arresting people you can't charge with a crime. This has happened at numerous protests for years, dozens of people arrested, released without a single charge.

Isn't false imprisonment or abduction a crime? The police use this as a disruption tactic, they don't care about the likelihood of actual charges.

Are you trying to destroy America? He may be old but he was not a member of the German National Socialist Party therefore he can't be a nazi, so you better vote for him or we're all dead already.

Fu condemned the implications made by some countries that questioned whether Palestine is a peace-loving state, a criterion for UN membership

Please tell me how tf the US argues they are "peace-loving"?? Just another metric I didn't even know of by which the US is illegitimate

Even as a child I heard that and was like "They hate us because of our freedom? That doesn't make any sense at all, they said we bombed them? That seems more likely the reason"

That's a pretty light way of phrasing "deliberate starvation of entire civilian population"

Small detail some might miss, one of the editorial board signatures is Ted Kaczynski.

Brilliant paragraph:

“What of the tens of thousands of Palestinian civilians killed before this attack?” some may ask. Our response is simply that we aren’t going to engage with that because it would be too hard. We also won’t be addressing Palestinians living in refugee camps without access to clean water, electricity, or housing. Others may ask, “Isn’t it your responsibility to provide context, particularly on thorny issues such as this one?” To that, we merely say: No, shut up. You’re being annoying.

It's considered 'left' to support queer and trans rights, and there are a good number of people that seem to have a problem with that whether my queer self is political or not.
