nixos, same as the last 10 years. more packages than ever on it, and I'm better at wrangling nix stuff now for my own packages. Besides my personal machines, I also use it to admin several servers for work. All the config for all the machines goes into git and I can see exactly what changed and when, configuration-wise.

Quality jam! They play it slow for a couple minutes, then start back in at speed. Ripping!

I use osmand on my phone for route finding and etc. It would be great to have the same program on my desktop, but its only for phones. For desktop, I haven't found anything that quite satisfies. It seems like programs are oriented toward different goals like editing GPS tracks. I'm mainly interested in google maps ish functionality with route finding and map browsing, like osmand.

Vintage footage of Powell and co from back in 1987. Riley Baugus banjo comes through pretty well. Ripping nine minute jam on this one.

Short but sweet clip that shows the bowing on this tune pretty clearly.

More complete track on Powell's time again album

Make a drain hole at the bottom of a lake, that comes out above it. Put in a water wheel, free energy.

What about plain old x = -10?

-10 ^ 2 = 100
-10 ^ 3 = -1000
-10 ^ 5 = -100000

Hot take: tire particulates are a conservative anti-EV talking point. "My V8 mustang weighs less than an EV, therefore its better on pollution than a EV because tire particulates". Totally disregarding the impact of tailpipe emissions.
