I want that controller. Also, a faceplate for my (original version) PS5 would be cool.

I also stopped playing after I think the first level because it just became Disney park rides. I've heard people say just don't use it. But I don't know if the game is built around using them. Like playing a Final Fantasy game without limit breaks. You can skip it, but it gives you a break every once in awhile and keeps up the pacing.

If the DNC is too conservative, then she is inversely too liberal for the DNC. And she isnt, it's not a monolith. She would be more than welcome in the more liberal half of the government.

If she wants to change it, she should join and do so. She might not succeed. That's how Democracy works. She'd be more likely to succeed though.

I've never heard a single position of hers that is too liberal. Even Andrew Yang was given his time to make his case. Voters said no.

The problem is that she's not actually popular enough with voters to get elected, let alone popular enough in the liberal half of the country to get nominated. She's saying the game is rigged because she doesn't actually have a chance.

The game actually favors her. RCV would help a moderate like Manchin get elected.

It's okay to hate both terrorist organizations.

If Jill Stein thought she had a chance, she'd join the Democratic Party and actually campaign to win. She's just running for the self-indulgence despite hurting civil rights and climate initiatives.

They have a shot, by joining the Democratic Party. The same way that progressives join liberals, make their voice heard, and let the voters decide.

Any third party presidential candidate that aligns mostly (or entirely) with one of the other parties but doesn't join them is at best chicken shit. If you can't convince half of the population which is closest to you politically, you're not going to convince the other half.

The only way a third party candidate would even theoretically work is if they were moderate (think Joe Manchin) where they would appeal to moderates from both parties.

Someone like Jill Stein has no business running outside of the Democratic Party. If she can't convince the Dems, she's not convincing the rest of the country. Running as a Dem and convincing 26% of voters is her best road to the presidency, but she knows she'll never get that much support.

Holy crap, she's 31? She looks like a 60 year old that had extensive work to kind of look 40.

Generally speaking , I don't think of npr when people complain about mainstream media.

Also, a couple reports aren't enough of a warning for the general population. The media does not do a good job of covering problems with the right-wing.

"The Big Lie" is one of the few examples of them actually taking a right-wing issue seriously. And that's because it was a direct attack on themselves. Otherwise it feels like they sanitize reporting as much as possible to appear unbiased.

I love the ever expanding classics catalog for Premium, in addition to the rest of the games offered. If they hadn't jacked up their prices, I'd probably still be subscribed.

The secretary of state's response filed Monday agrees that a staff member got an e-mail asking for a copy of what to submit. It states that a staff member replied with a Word document.

However, the response states that what the staffer emailed was "an internal recordkeeping document" and not any sort of template. The response states that no such template exists.

The response also denies Arkansans for Limited Government's claim that attorneys and representatives with the secretary of state's office assured the group it had filed the necessary paperwork.

Jack Black has said he’s cancelled the rest of the Tenacious D world tour after his bandmate Kyle Gass sparked an outcry with a comment about the assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

The comedy rock group were on stage in Sydney, Australia, on Sunday when Gass was asked to make a wish after being presented with a cake for his 64th birthday.

He appeared to reply: "Don’t miss Trump next time."

Gass also split with his agent following the incident.

I get a lot of spam. In the subject it might say something about Home Warranty. The sender will say Home Warranty (the actual sender will be randomwords@randomwords.com).

But whenever I use my email's search engine, to delete all emails that say "Home Warranty", it can't find them.

Do people usually just ignore these types of emails?

I got banned from an .ml community for basically nothing and I remembered .ml is the tankies instance. So I'm looking for an alternative so I can be off of the instance entirely.

FWIW, the community was worldnews@lemmy.ml.

I assume I was banned because I said I understood Biden opposing surgery on minors, specifically trans surgery. Although I disagreed with it.

The House on Saturday passed a $95 billion aid package that includes two long-awaited bills with $60.8 billion of Ukraine aid and $26 billion in aid to Israel.

The Ukraine bill, which passed with 311 votes in favor, 112 votes against, and one present, will now head to the Senate alongside the Israel aid bill and two others — one with aid for Taiwan and another that forces Tiktok's parent company to sell it.

"Three U.S. C-130 cargo planes dropped 66 total bundles, equating to about 38,000 pork-free meals, into the territory on Saturday morning. The bundles were split between three planes, the official said."

"The airdrop is expected to be the first of many announced by President Joe Biden on Friday. The aid will be coordinated with Jordan, which has also conducted airdrops to deliver food to Gaza."
