Does anyone have 4x6 thermal label printers working on Linux?

I have tried several thermal printers, zebra and off brands, none of them work on Linux, also tried arch, mint, manjaro, Ubuntu, and a few others.

Printers all detect and install, but never prints. I messed with CUPS settings, didnt help. I also tried LPrint. Didnt work. Nothing comes out any of the label printers. Not even the sample test labels.

Been using Linux for about 2 years full time. I only have windows to print shipping labels. I HATE using windows 10 and refuse to use 11. Now with no updates it’s the last thing I need to replace.

I normally do not talk politics with people I know, but this one person said they like trump because: “all I know is when he was president, I did good financially”.

I tried to tell him that the government is slow to enact things so he did good because the previous president. He didnt want to hear that and dismissed it.

[Feature Request] Background app refresh (lemmy.world)

When I put my iPhone down for a bit and come back to Voyager, the app resets back to the top of the feed. I then have to scroll so far down to find the place I was at.

My iPhone settings does not show Voyager app in the background app refresh settings.

I believe this setting would keep the feed in the same place when I bring the app back.

I’m in the process of buying land to homestead on. Solar, rain water, green house, etc. my goal is to be as self sufficient as I can be.

The fact that it’s a top 10 seller on steam deck for years and they just fucked over everyone on Linux, they deserve it. We all paid them and they completely screwed all of us. I feel so cheated. I only run Linux and I have a steam deck. I left a bad review on steam and I contacted their support from all my rockstar accounts, but it’s not enough. Battleye is compatible with Linux, they just had to send an email, but rockstar keeps lying that it’s not compatible.

Is called “Windows” because they are always looking in at you. I have been on Linux since they announced recall, and their fucking one drive kept secretly uploading my desktop files! (Kept seeing sync icons, even with all that disabled). Since then I now have my wife, uncle, dad, friends, etc all running Linux now.

I used to open it from the stem side, but then I saw video of a monkey open from the bottom… I tried it and it was easier to open especially the less ripe ones.

Google search was so legendary when it came out, it was able to find me perfect results when I would even type in almost gibberish, it somehow predicted what I actually meant. Over time the results were worse and worse, then nothing but products would show in the results a few years ago. Buy this, buy what,etc. no more research, just trash products in the search results. Google greed killed itself.
