Work for a contractor who replaces them in condos or something. They need to be replaced every 10 years, and with semi modern codes a 2-3 bedroom unit will have 3-5. A 20 unit condo with 4 stories would be 240-400 smoke alarms to replace every decade.

For some scale, it’s a 3x3 tent as well.

Seed to consume, everything I do myself.

I’m gonna be buying a rosin press here shortly, it’s the only piece missing to make my own rosin and then carts.

If you’re planning on making any hash or anything with your flower, you should trim the fan leaves off, sugar leaves and fan leaves with trichomes can stay though. This will allow the cuts to heal before harvest and will minimize chlorophyll leech into any other products you could be making.

This will be harvested next week and half will be frozen and half will be dried. The frozen will be considered “fresh frozen” cannabis and will be used to make bubble hash that will be turned into rosin and put into some pure cannabis “live rosin” carts.

The dried material will be split as well, some for vaping and some for some dried cannabis hash, which will also be made into carts, will maybe get a flavorant as well, for some variety, but most will be pure cannabis.

It’s not an argument, only cannabis growers (incorrectly) call it a bract, it’s a calyx by plant nomenclature.

Maybe don’t just read cannabis material? You can learn a lot more from general botany. Uneducated growers have been calling it incorrectly for so long, that people following along are now incorrectly saying it’s the correct term. And people like you perpetuate it. New growers see old growers using it, reference that, and now you’re quoting it like it’s gospel.

It’s a calyx, the bracts protect them, sorry dude.

Edit, holy fuck dude, read your own link, picture from it

The bracts are below the singled flower (calyx)

The bract is the outer leaves, whether the plant is seeded or not the calyx expands.

When someone says it’s a bract, it’s usually wrong, the term is calyx, but bract CAN be used since the petals in the outside aren’t usually pulled away, but on the ripe ones, they are.

Excessive ruderalis trait, is the plant an auto by chance?

They aren’t entirely happy with me, started getting stress foxtails last week. Adjusting to a new nutrient line and my light was probably a hair strong.

Uhh isn’t progressing to electric cars… science progressing to help solve the issue? What a strange train of thoughts.
