In the past ublock origin did it on fennec, but now is no more working. I'm also using chrome as user agent (google search fixer extension) if it does matter. Thanks

I'm trying searx, but like duckduckgo, qwant and ecosia doesn't give me direct answer (Firefox both PC/android). Just google and bing works, any idea (maybe some site that use ai directly without agree or choose the model every time like in DDG) My user scenario will be to use it with kiss launcher on android (will be great if someone know a way to use some ai search with it too) Thanks

Just want something that alert me when I'm finishing SMS. Also not foss app (less tracker/permission as possible in this case)

I'm using this music player (sadly not Foss) but after last update is not working anymore (issue with gplay app)...any Foss alternative to it? feature that I'm looking for is playlist creation and export, file management (delete/copy file)...music cut/trim is a plus Thanks

edit: at the end I choose vanilla music seems an abandoned project but it l accomplish all my needs. Hope someone can refresh the project (UI especially... 😉) Thanks To all

as title, if I try to share multiple image to k9mail seems that compression is done for all but just one is attached in the mail. Any solution or alternative to this scenario? Thanks

What's the best way, shelter (so work profile with officiale app) or dedicated browser without clear cookies (I'm using fennec as default, so wich other would be good choice?) I'm skipping foss app user case cause there's not insta alternative. Thanks

I not on that machine but as far as I remember it's a full ntfs partition, don't think I ever changed fstab

ok, thank you very much for detailed explanation, yes I remember that I had removed timeout from grub in the past, I will follow your procedure and select previous kernel. Another question, once I'v selected the older kernel did you think that removing (it's fine using apt?) and resinstall newest kernel will fix the issue or I'v to keep the older kernel? In case I'v to keep the older kernel how can I avoid that it will be overwritten once I update the os?

[-] dafunkkk@lemmy.world 3 points 9 months ago

seems not....but I'm not used to intense task

[-] dafunkkk@lemmy.world 3 points 9 months ago* (last edited 9 months ago)

ok, I'll backup all data first. How can I remove old kernel without enter in grub menu (since usually boot works well) and select the oldone as default? Thanks

I'm on debian 11, this error doesn't show up every time, but once it appear I need more that one reboot and it will fix automatically without doing nothing, don't know the reason why (just read that can be kernel dependent). What I want to avoid is that maybe it's just a warning of somethink that will cause a pc break in future (maybe hardware is starting working bad?) Do you have any sugggestion? Thanks

I recently moved from osmand to organic maps (now that they add gpx support) and even if it cannot be compared to gmaps it's the most usable and have metro maps in it
