The more you watch it the more hilarious details and transformations you notice.

Steam DRM is nothing like stuff people should be aware of. Ask any modder for confirmation.

Wording is confusing. Here are some better takes that sound valid and are true:

  • Telegram's e2ee is only available for chats of 2 people, and only on official mobile client.

  • Telegram's e2ee is a feature you have to enable whenever you need it (called secret chats).

Steam is a product, Valve is a company.

Software/game DRM/anticheat (as a service/product) that involves code obfuscation and/or kernel driver.

There should be means that would allow fans and appreciators donate money to creators. And it looks like we already have a lot of those.

Also, culture and art should be promoted by governments. Therefore taxes could go that way too.

Anyway, it's not like people say it's fine for everyone to not pay. But at least we know it's fine for many to pay much less than the rest, see regional pricing and discounts. Creators are totally fine with those. Nothing prevents it from being extended further to people who have a hard time trying to become potential customers.

Unironically you're missing the point. The point being, it's not a problem for many apps to start because oh how powerful PCs got. The problem is when some apps use so much resources that regardless of how powerful your PC gets, it's wasteful to have them opened all the time.

Reason for that problem is them using unoptimized frameworks such as Electron and CEF (seriously, check each app on the image).

And main reasons for that are:

  • Google posing browser component as a GUI framework.

  • Devs not caring (or being lazy) enough to do native coding.

I wish every person would realize the above so we could force developers do their job better.

Pretty much every single decision you can see from their history since the inception of EGS is either stupid or blatantly destructive to gaming industry. Just some examples: better revenue shares for developers? Sure but this translates into worse platform. Money bonuses for exclusivity is great for developers? Sure but the game is then stuck at the platform that gives no means for users to interact and let developers know how they could improve their product. Cross platform multiplayer platform that works? Sure but then we have to deal with stupid requirements like having an account on additional platforms we may not want to use, even to play single player modes sometimes.

You can also check Tim's Twitter and see how ignorant and hypocritical he is. I wouldn't mind it but his decisions seem to actually affect the whole platform and therefore the industry so... too bad.

Did someone actually investigate and find the exact place in scripts where this logic takes place?

EDIT: Yes. https://www.androidauthority.com/youtube-reportedly-slowing-down-videos-firefox-3387206/

Except that Ukraine attacking Russia was a lie. Russia and hamas are aggressors.
