I have two professors that I have strong memory of.

The first thought classes that she was not qualified to teach. Using methods outside her narrow window of understanding hurt your score. She set a rule that if you ask for her to recheck a question on the final you will lose 20 points. On my final I had a minus 20 because she doesn't understand powers of 2.

The second is brilliant but very absent minded. Gave us a badly worded question. It was meant to be a very hard question and I didn't know the subject well enough to solve it. Used mathematical logic to prove he didn't ask what he thought he was asking. And solved the very easy question he actually asked.

He gave me a perfect score and a job.

It may be true for 'soldier' plants. However there are thousands of plant species that can't be both efficiently mass produced and shipped while still being of good quality. So you get a bad produce, very costly produce or both.

I can't afford fresh Basil leaves, I maintained a plant in my kitchen in some of the apartments I lived in. The current one doesn't have enough sun. It took 10 minutes of work to arrange and emptying left over water.

Also, if you never tasted cherry tomatoes straight from the plant you don't what you are missing, and how shity is the produce in the market.

I cannot buy healthy, tasty, food. I can work less hours, buy ingredients in the marker and make that food.

I will never be able to buy a house, never. Even saving over half my income by living in shit neighborhoods. The cost of houses goes up too fast. Even after investing, and getting good returns, on the little I managed to save, it is not enough.

So working a little less, and having healthy food it is.

After understanding the ongoing ecological collapse, I don't care much about a house anymore, rich or poor, we are all dead in less than 10 years anyway.

If you can, work less, play more. And I actually love what I do at work, but fuck that scam.
