Unfortunately the biggest issue now is the anticheats that only function on windows. My friends refuse to switch to Linux because you cannot play:

fortnite
league of legends
escape from tarkov
battlefield
apex legends
valorant
R6 siege
GTA 5
Rust
Destiny 2 Etc

They'll play other games but because they mainline one of these they refuse to leave. As long as SteamOS has no answer to these anti cheats windows will maintain a dominance.

A lot of studios develop with the intention of being absorbed and/or bought out. The plan is usually to develop some niche incredible tech that's only around PoC quality and then be acquired.

They didn't get crushed by the big man here. That's simply how the reality of the market goes.

I think he was trying to have a philosophical point here but took the headass approach to it.

20 years ish old, living in Poland, and perma online does things to a man. Weird though to have a take like that when Polish people in particular were significant victims in Auschwitz

Hello gamers, this bad boy arrived today and it's the first time I've encountered 3 PCIe power slots. I'm familiar with using 1 cable and using the daisy chained 8 pin to handle the 2 slots. Since my Gigabyte 80+ G 1000W came with 3 of these PCIe cables I'm assuming this setup is correct? I'm probably needlessly worrying that I'll brick this.

To be exact, each cable is an 2+6 pin into the PSU while the opposite end is 2 (daisy chained) 2+6 pins. My worry is rooted in not being familiar with the daisy chained bits importance.
