There was r/scienceofdeduction@reddit.com that basically tries to find as much information about the person just from a photo. I once found an exact window location to the room where the picture was taken. You would be suprised how much information can be extracted from one picture.

After trying couple of keybords (mostly AnySoftKeyboard and TypeWise [proprietary]) I have settled on Unexpected Keyboard due to easy switch of keybords to get to japanese keyboard and tts button.

The self-immolation, the most non-violent form of protest, no longer works. After Aaron Bushnell that I have heard about, there ware two more attempts that I didn't. (Matt Nelson and Samuel Mena Jr)

Recent events have shown us that violent protest still works, but it got me thinking; When was the last time someone resigned from position of power due to social pressure?

I have this hunch that shame worked in the past, but now PR departments and relentless pursuit of money has removed social acceptance from an equation.

After Reddit enshittified, they shutdown Secret Santa. Some people made a spiritual successor to it. I think Lemmy is a good place to promote it.

I always try to send at least a postcard. I missed it last year, so I really wanted to remember this year to sign up before the deadline.

REST API docs

Your consumer can query the API on its own, and download 5 subtitles per IP's per 24 hours, but a user must be authenticated to download more. Users will then be able to download as many subtitles as their ranks allows, from 10 as simple signed up user, to 1000 for VIP user.

I think it's reasonable move. They have Legacy API that cost them a lot of manhours to maitain and they decided to cut on costs and replace it with a new thing. Sadly they decresed amount of api calls from 20 to 5 [needs citation]

I think they don't have good PR guy to better communicate the change

I would say just subscribe to stuff you like and don't doom scroll for hours. A 15 min session is all you need to catch up for a day in your interests. Also make some posts in stuff you like and care about.
