I thought thehardtimes.net was satire. When did they start doing normal journalism?

The last time RATM came to my city they charged $400+ for tickets and there were corporate sponsors for the concert.

Fuck you, I won't pay what you tell me.

That's because TicketMaster or the like I imagine.. Was that for main standing area?

Ticket master or RATM, it makes no difference to me which of those two business partners are robbing us, they’re doing it together

I don't think anyone can organize a major concert in US without these scalpers leeching on tickets. Is there a comparable example of a band where tickets are $100- ? This is the machine we all rage about..US sucks and it has been setting bad example to the rest of the world..

Can’t rage against a machine if you’ve willingly become part of it

You lost me. I don't work for or have payed money to ticket master, if that's what you mean. Or maybe you mean generally, like going to work, concerts and so on.. Do you suggest everybody rolls over and dies? Are you calling for general strike, a revolution? Maybe elaborate.. I susspected 400+$ is a lie and did a quick search. Found this: https://www.alternativenation.net/rage-against-the-machine-unload-on-expensive-ticket-prices/ . It's about their reunion tour and that 90% of all tickets were $125. 10% of all tickets were charity tickets. It says if you payed 400$ then it was from a scalper. But you never attended their concert, did you?

“Rage for the Machine”

I remember when they played on a trailer outside the NYSE. It was on MTV News and my brother rolled his eyes and casually said, "Rage Against the Machine but make sure the t-shirts are $25."

I started laughing and replied, "Does anyone think these guys don't own stock? They're on Epic for fuckssake. Ask Joe Strummer and The Clash how that worked out."

I have bad news for him. If he's the right wing RATM fan, he wasn't stupider before.
