Funnily enough, about a decade or so ago some war plans leaked for a USA vs everyone else war. That's not unusual, that's the job of the Pentagon, to make plans for every contingency so they can dust them off when something similar comes up and then not use most of it.

What was unusual is that they might have actually worked, in a "force a peace treaty" sort of way. The Pentagon identified the key, and frankly quite obvious weak point:

America has the strongest air force and fleets in the world by a decent margin (until relatively recently), and the world depends on fossil fuel pipelines and tankers that are quite easily destroyed when you have the only real blue water navy.

In a sane world, every general on the planet would have been screaming at their governments to push green energy after this plan leaked.
