Is that why all images from the server are broken? What's the reason for doing this anyway? Seems counterproductive to just break things like this for no reason...
From what I understand the old server was going to be changed regardless and it wasn't worth it to transfer 200gb of content over. The images had actually broken twice in the past, the whole thing was a bit of a mess.
Plus PieFed gives us more chances for tailoring the site to our needs.
That sucks, well at least the server is still there and this community is mostly intact.
