I remember these clowns loudly talking about Jack-Booted Thugs (i.e., the government) taking away personal freedoms, as a main pillar of their mission.

As it turns out, the NRA absolutely loves the Jack-Booted Thugs treatment of American citizens.

White are you talking about? I don't know white you're implying, but I can tell you one thing, that kind of talk is white gets people in trouble.

They’re too busy regulating their militias.

Reminder that 2A is for shooting back.

TIL there's no federal minimum age to shoot a gun. Here's the NRA talking about introducing 5 year olds to firearms:

I learned to shoot at 7. It’s not inherently dangerous if you’re taught well.

It's also life saving to expose children to guns in a controlled environment. It reduces the chance of something bad happening if they happen to find a gun at some point.

As much as I respect gun safety, the gun owning parents barely trust their 5 year old not to spill their juice on the couch, so how can they justify a gun? I think it's entirely unnecessary for children to learn to shoot that young. You don't need to hold a gun to know it's dangerous.
