Still, fires and plumes of smoke could be seen in several areas of Tel Aviv, while explosions were also reported in Jerusalem.

Images and videos verified by Middle East Eye showed apartment blocks in Tel Aviv's suburbs and the nearby city of Ramat Gan almost completely destroyed and the wreckage of several vehicles among the debris.

I'm done pretending that the Nazi regime of Israel and the 3/4 of a century of oppression and slaughter of Palestinians deserves my sympathy. A lot of the immigrants living as Israelis killed and tortured the people they stole the land from. I say this as a Jewish immigrant whose family experienced actual antisemitism. I say this as the grandson of a Russian military commander who was stuck in the blockade of st. Petersburg when the Nazis starved and bombarded the Russian people for 2 years. My experience and knowledge of history is precisely why my ethnicity cannot be allowed to perpetrate the horrors against Palestinians.

While the attack and deaths are sad and should not be celebrated, what should be celebrated is the crushing of the fantasy that Israel will not face any consequences for behaving like demons. I hope every Israeli is unable to sleep due to that realization. Perhaps something would change.

sadly most Israelis won't see it that way, they are poor victims of those blood thirsty Muslims, they haven't done absolutely nothing to deserve this.

They are gaslighting themselves to forget that they attacked first.
