I don’t really know who this Sachs guy is but some people said he was the guy behind the Neoliberal Yeltshit shock therapy in Russia and in other countries and not my word but from other peoples word.

He's had a redemption arc since where he's come to realize the west are the baddies. The fact that he was in the room when a lot of the decisions to cripple Russia economically were made after the fall of USSR gives him a lot of credibility as well. He's not speculating about it, he was there he knows what was done and why.

That's basically my take, too

So, my thoughts on him are that he may not be a GOOD person, but he is absolutely without a doubt, a very smart person who is very knowledgeable on US foreign policy and the contradictions that come about from it. I used to watch Democracy Now a lot a few years ago (I still like them, my schedule sorta changed so I can’t watch it as regularly) and he would frequently give great interviews, talking about the Nord Stream attack that was orchestrated by the US, talking about the Euromaidan and the Alley of Angels. Sachs is many things, but he certainly isn’t dumb and he isn’t easily influenced/manipulated. Any recent interview or talks with Sachs are a goldmine for anyone skeptical of US foreign policy goals.
