Iran criticized the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi, accusing him of complicity in the Western-led campaign of aggression against the Islamic Republic.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry's spokesperson, Esmail Baghaei, criticized Grossi’s recent remark that the agency "did not have any evidence of a systematic effort [by Iran] to move into a nuclear weapon." He called the statement "too little, too late," and denounced what Iran sees as a dangerously politicized role played by the IAEA under Grossi’s leadership.

The Iranian official said Grossi's earlier “biased report,” filled with baseless allegations of non-compliance, was used by the E3 (France, Germany, UK) and the United States to push through a resolution that ultimately served as a pretext for a "genocidal, warmongering regime" to launch an illegal act of war on Iran.
